Introduction of ILC
~The physics, the accelerator, and the project status~
=Abstract=
ILC (International Linear Collider) is an electron-positron linear collider of 250 GeV CM energy to be constructed in Kitakami mountains of Tohoku area in Japan. The major physics aim of ILC is to find the future direction of the field of particle physics through precision measurements of Higgs boson coupling with other elementary particles. Since ILC detector is a multi-purpose, wide range of particle and nuclear physics can be studied. ILC accelerator consists of electron gun, positron generator, two 5GeV injectors, two 5GeV damping rings, transport lines to the far end of Linacs, and two 120GeV superconducting linear accelerators, two final focus beam lines and two beam dumps. The 1st lecture introduce physics at ILC and the project status. The 2nd lecture introduce the accelerator scheme, functions and performance together with advanced technologies used there.
