[Excursion (Oct. 22 (Thu) Afternoon)]

We are pleased to invite you to a bus tour to Toyosu on Oct. 22 (Thu). This excursion offers a unique blend of cutting-edge digital technology and traditional Japanese culinary culture.

Toyosu has become famous as the home of Tokyo's main wholesale market, following the relocation of the historic Tsukiji Market. We will visit two places.

  1. "Toyosu Senkyaku Banrai": A newly established commercial complex inspired by the traditional streets of the Edo period. Located adjacent to the Toyosu Fish Market, it offers exceptional seafood and local delicacies. Participants may enjoy lunch there at their own expense.
  2. "TeamLab Planets": A world-renowned digital art museum. It offers a unique "body immersive" experience where visitors walk through water and become part of the artwork.

[Notice!] TeamLab Planets is one of the most famous places in Tokyo right now. It is very hard to get tickets because the number is limited. We may need to apologize and offer an alternative if the number of participants exceeds the number of tickets.

[Banquet (Oct. 22 (Thu) Evening)]

We are planning a special dinner on the "Yakatabune" for the OMGE18 banquet. The yakatabune has a long history dating back to the Edo period. You can enjoy a traditional Japanese houseboat with an authentic Japanese dinner on the Sumida River. You can also enjoy panoramic views of Tokyo landmarks, including Skytree, the Rainbow Bridge, and high-rise tower buildings at night.
