Title: Fusion and dynamical potential in heavy systems Speaker: Dr. Kouhei Washiyama Date: Wednesday, June 19th, 11:00- Place: Room 203, RIBF building Abstract: In heavy-ion fusion reactions for heavy systems, typically their charge products Z_P Z_T > 1600, so-called fusion hindrance phenomenon appears, where an extra energy is needed for the system to fuse. I will show the property of dynamical potential in heavy systems obtained from the time-dependent energy density functional model and discuss the relation between the obtained potential and fusion hindrance.
