Title: Supernova equation of state with the cluster variational method

Abstract: Nuclear equation of state (EOS) plays important roles for core-collapse supernovae (SNe). At present, however, there are no SN-EOSs based on the nuclear Hamiltonian composed of bare nuclear forces. Therefore, we are now constructing a new SN-EOS based on a realistic nuclear Hamiltonian with the variational many-body theory. In this talk, I will report the nuclear EOS that we have constructed with the cluster variational method and its application to the SN numerical simulation.
