Description
Theoretical Nuclear Physics (TNP) Laboratory started in August 2007. Since then, we had two staff members (FA), eighteen postdoctoral researchers, and three graduate students. Most of these members have become staff members in other institutes in the world, actively working on theories for finite quantum many-body systems and to discover/predict new phenomena in exotic nuclei. A number of collaborations with RIBF experimental groups have been taking place as well. The TNP laboratory is closing at the end of March 2016. In this occasion, we have a mini-symposium to summarize a variety of activities in and beyond the TNP laboratory. On the second day, we will have a meeting of the RIBF Theory Forum at Nishina Hall.
