The fifth version of the EIC Asia workshop will be held at the Tokyo University in Japan, closely following the EIC Resource review board (RRB) that is held June 9/10, also in Tokyo.
Thanks to the RRB, several key members of the EIC project and the ePIC experiment will be able to attend. In addition, the progress of particularly the various Asian groups activities toward the EIC and related theoretical work will be discussed. Those include the updates on the GEM based tracking detectors, the AC-LGAD Time-of-Flight detectors, the ZDC (both crystal and potential WSi upgrades) and the streaming readout of the data.
Additionally, various topics relevant to the EIC will be discussed either from the theoretical side, from impact studies using the expected EIC data, or from other experiments.
