Description

Progress report. Spin-orbit interaction in the elastic scattering of 6He on proton will be investicated with a polarized proton target and SAMURAI spectrometer. Spin-orbit coupling can show different behaviour in unstable nuclei due to the diffuse surface structure of nuclei far from the stability. We will present preparation status for the SAMURAI13 experiment including the development of polarized target, a recoil proton detector (ESPRI-RPS) and method to fill the SAMURAI gap chamber with helium gas.
