Description
The 14th RIBF discussion meeting on "Charge radii studies through laser spectroscopy” will be held at RIKEN Nishina Center on Friday, March 4th, 2016. Lecturers are Prof. H. Nakada and Dr. H. Iimura. The present discussion will be held together with the workshop on "Nuclear spectroscopy using slow & stopped RI beams (SSRI)" Please feel free to join us if you have interests.
[Organizers]
Y. Ichikawa (RNC), A. Takamine (RNC),
H. Z. Liang (RNC), T. Nakatsukasa (Tsukuba/RNC), D. Nishimura (TUS), M. Sasano (RNC), T. Uesaka (RNC), and K. Yoshida (Niigata)
[About the meeting]
"RIBF Discussion" is aiming at domestic collaboration among theory and experiment related to physics in RIBF, and at achieving maximum outputs from RIBF. It is held roughly every two months. Each meeting has a specific theme and invites lecturers both from experimental and theoretical sides. The style is somewhat different from a normal one, but with a long
discussion time. The meeting site is not necessarily at RIKEN, but held at major institutes in Japan. We keep an informal atmosphere and try to stimulate lively discussion among participants. After the meeting, usually we have a joint dinner together with lecturers and participants.
