Overview

The 32nd International Nuclear Target Development Society Conference (INTDS2026) will be held at the RIKEN Nishina Center for Accelerator‑Based Science in Wako, Japan. INTDS2026 brings together researchers, engineers, and technicians involved in the production, characterization, and application of nuclear targets and related materials. As one of the few international forums dedicated to target science, the conference provides a platform for sharing technical advances, discussing challenges in target preparation, and strengthening collaboration across laboratories worldwide.

The 2026 meeting will feature contributed presentations and focused technical discussions covering a broad range of topics, including target fabrication techniques, material properties, beam–target interactions, radiation effects, and innovative diagnostic methods. RIKEN looks forward to providing a setting that supports productive exchange within the target‑development community.
