The TOPTIER Theory Annual Meeting
We bring together theorists from Korea and Japan working within the TOPTIER Platform in Extreme Rare Isotope Science. This year we meet in Tokyo.

The aim is to make concrete progress on ongoing collaborations, start new ones, and strengthen the link between theory and the TOPTIER experimental programs. The program will mix short talks with ample time for discussion. We especially encourage students and young researchers to take part.

Topics include:

  • Nuclear density functional theory and its extensions (HFB, GCM, TDDFT)
  • Shell-model and ab initio approaches
  • Cluster structure and AMD
  • Nuclear reactions and optical potentials
  • Fission dynamics and Langevin approaches
  • Theory–experiment interface for TOPTIER experiments

Dates: December 2 (Wed) – 4 (Fri), 2026
