Travel and Access to RIKEN

There are two international airports in Tokyo (Narita and Haneda). You should take either trains or buses to Wakoshi station: Travel information to RIKEN from the airports and from the downtown Tokyo.

If you do not have a RIKEN ID card, when you reach RIKEN, you need to obtain a temporal access card, following the procedure below.
1) Please drop by at the guard station of the "West Gate" upon your arrival RIKEN.
2) If you are a registered participant, just tell your name and the purpose of your visit (JUSTIPEN-JUSEIPEN Workshop) to the guardian at the West Gate. Then, receive an "Temporary entry permit" and proceed to the Okochi Hall of Laser Science building. You can keep the permit during the workshop.
3) Return the temporary entry permit to the guardian of the West Gate or the Main Gate, when you leave RIKEN. Please do not forget to do this.

2') If you are not registered, you need to fill in an entry form to obtain the "One-day temporary entry permit" everyday.
3') Return the one day temporary entry permit to the guardian of the West Gate or the Main Gate at the end of the day.
