There are two international airports in Tokyo (Narita and Haneda). You should take either trains or buses to Wakoshi station: Travel information to RIKEN from the airports and from the downtown Tokyo.
When you reach RIKEN, you need to obtain a temporal access card, following the procedure below.
1) Please drop by at the guard station of the "West Gate" upon your arrival RIKEN and tell your name and the purpose of your visit ("ICNT Workshop") to the guardian. You must be a registered participant and are supposed to inform the organizers your arrival date. Then, you should receive an "Temporary entry permit".
2) Proceed to Room 435/437 in Main Research Building (workshop site), or to your accommodation (in case that you are staying in RIKEN guest house). You can keep the permit during the workshop.
3) Return the temporary entry permit to the guardian of the West Gate or the Main Gate, when you leave RIKEN. Please do not forget to do this.
