Description

We conducted measurement of excitation spectra in 12C(p,d) reactions near the eta' emission threshold. We employed a 2.5 GeV proton beam accelerated by the synchrotron SIS-18 of GSI impinging on a carbon target. The emitted deuterons at 0 degree were momentum-analyzed by the fragment separator FRS used as a high-resolution spectrometer. We achieved an extremely good statistical sensitivity with a sufficiently good energy resolution. We give a presentation on the analysis status and the preliminary results of the experiment.
