Major airports around Riverside
Ontario International Airport (ONT), about 20 miles northwest of Riverside, is the most convenient air travel choice in the area. It takes less than 25 minutes to get from there by car. However, traffic in Southern California is sometimes very bad and the ride could take a bit longer during rush hours.
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), the biggest in Southern California and one of the busiest in the world, is about 70 miles west of Riverside (about 1 hour and 15 minutes by car, much longer during rush hours, morning and afternoon).
John Wayne Orange County Airport (SNA) is 45 miles southwest of Riverside (45 minutes by car, rush-hour traffic not included).
Other options include the Long Beach Airport (LGB), 60 miles to the west (an hour or more by car), and the Palm Springs International Airport (PSP), 60 miles to the east.
Additional travel information will be supplied as the Spinfest approaches.
