The sixth international conference on Trapped Charged Particles and Fundamental Physics (TCP2014) will be held in Takamatsu, on the Japanese island of Shikoku, during December 1 – 5, 2014. This conference belongs to the series of conferences started in Lysekil (Sweden) in 1994, followed by a conference at Asilomar (USA) in 1998, Wildbad Kreuth (Germany) in 2002, Parksville on Vancouver Island (Canada) 2006 and Saariselkä, northern Finland in 2010. The conference in Takamatsu will focus on recent developments and highlights in the field of trapped charged particles. In particular, it will address the following scientific fields:
        • Fundamental Interactions and Symmetries
        • Quantum and QED Effects
        • Precision Spectroscopy and Frequency Standards
        • Anti-Hydrogen
        • Plasma Effects and Collective Behavior
        • Ion Traps for Radioactive Nuclei and Highly Charged Ions
        • Storage Ring Physics
        • Applications of Particle Trapping: Chemistry, Trace Analysis, …
The conference venue will simultaneously host the 11th International Workshop on Non-Neutral Plasmas (NNP2014) and a joint session will be held.

Call for abstracts
Abstract submission can be made from this conference web site.  We will accept abstracts as single-page PDF files.  While we require no particular style guide, we advise submitters to be succinct.  When submitting abstracts, please select preference of poster or oral presentation.  Abstracts not selected for oral presentations will be offered a poster session.
Oral presenters wishing to do so, may make a poster presentation in addition.  To do so, they must inform LOC before November 22.

Financial Support
Some financial support may be possible for students and researchers from developing nations.
TCP School
The TCP conference will be preceded by a school on Trapped Charged Particles at RIKEN in Wako, Japan, during November 28-29. This will provide a perfect opportunity for graduate students to directly interact with and gain knowledge from leading figures in the field of trapped-ion physics prior to the conference.
As the TCP School is to be held at RIKEN (near Tokyo) while the conference is quite distantly located, we must advise that participants book separate rooms for each setting.

TCP School participants are requested to register here

TCP2014 Poster
Participants are advised to book their own accomodations as early as possible.  We provide links to recommended hotels below.
Hotels for TCP School (Wako, November 28-29) can be found here.
Hotels for TCP Conference (Takamatsu, December 1-5) can be found here.
Participants are strongly encouraged to book accommodations as soon as possible. If you experience difficulty, please contact us
NNP Participants
Those participating in the NNP conference who wish to make a poster contribution to TCP2014 are invited to contact the TCP organizers.

Proceedings to be published in Hyperfine Interactions
