Notes on Accommodation
We can not provide any on-campus facility for accommodation; please make the hotel reservation by yourself. Some information on accommodation is presented.
Hotels around Wako campus
Around Wako campus, RIKEN, two commercial hotels are located nearby the Wako-shi Station (a few minutes' walk from the station). Here is the links to the HPs of the hotels.

Accommodation in Kyoto
Since the period of the meeting is a part of the high season in Kyoto, we strongly recommend you to book a hotel for your stay in Kyoto as soon as possible. Around the campus of Kyoto University, there is no nearby commercial hotel. It may be convenient for you to book a hotel around the downtown. It takes about 15-20 minutes by bus from the downtown to Kyoto university.
Important Notes on Financial Support (closed)
The deadline for the request of financial support is Oct. 1st
(we can provide financial support only for invited speakers from outside of Japan).
If you need financial supports below, please fill the registration form and request it
by the deadline (Oct. 1st).
During your stay in Japan, we can provide financial support (roughly 10,000 JPY/night)
for accommodation for at most 7 nights from Nov. 6th to 12th.
We can not provide any on-campus facility for accommodation; please make the hotel reservation and payment by yourself. We do not require any receipt for this (the amount
of the financial support for accommodation per night is fixed, even if the actual hotel costs
were less).
Note that we do not restrict participants to stay around Wako and Kyoto during the
weekend; you can stay wherever you like for the nights from 8th to 10th.
We can also provide some financial support for the transportation costs from Wako to Kyoto.
Please be aware that you can receive the financial supports (in cash) only during
your stay at Wako Campus. We may not be able to support you if your stay is only in
Kyoto.
Also note that the amount of the supports may change due to the limitation of our budget.
