Transportation
The nearest stations to NAOJ are Chofu Station (Keio Line) or Musashi-Sakai Station (JR Chuo Line). You can travel from airports to these stations by train and/or airport shuttle bus.
From Station to NAOJ:
- From Chofu Station, you can take the Odakyu Bus (Red Bus) Route 境91 bound for Musashi-Sakai Station, or the Keio Bus (Blue Bus) Route 武91 for approximately 15 minutes. Then, get off the bus at "tenmondai-mae."
- From Musashi-Sakai Station, you can take the Odakyu Bus Route 境91 bound for Komae Station for about 15 minutes. Then, get off the bus at "tenmondai-mae." (Note: The Keio Bus (Blue Bus) Route 武91 bound for Musashi-Koganei Station does NOT go to Musashi-Sakai Station.)
How to get on the bus:
- For the Odakyu Bus (Red Bus), you board at the front and exit at the rear. You only need to tap the IC card when we board. (Not recommended: If you pay in cash, please put cash (240 yen, fixed price) into the machine when you get off the bus.)
- For the Keio Bus (Blue Bus), you board at the rear and exit at the front. You need to tap the IC card both when we board and exit. (Not recommended: If you pay in cash, please take a boarding ticket when you get on the bus, and put in the boarding ticket and cash (230 yen from Chofu Sta. to Tenmondai-mae) in cash into the machine when you get off the bus.)
You can buy an IC card (Suica or PASMO) at ticket machines or counters in most train stations. They are also available at Narita and Haneda airports.

There are no hotels near NAOJ. We recommend staying around Chofu Station or Musashi-Sakai Station.
