Self-Guided Excursion
The excursion will be conducted in a Self-Guided style. The conference organizers will not lead the excursion; instead, participants are encouraged to explore and travel on their own based on the suggested plans provided below.
To help participants interact with one another, we have provided model plans and schedules as a reference. While we encourage participants to use these as a guide, you are free to adjust your itinerary or join and leave midway as you prefer.
A dedicated Slack channel has been set up to facilitate communication among participants.
Excursion Plans
- Mount Takao Course
Take a train to Takaosanguchi Station (~ 40 min.). Purchase a cable car ticket to ascend the mountain. Enjoy lunch in small groups at the summit, with the option to further explore hiking trails. - Tokyo City Course
Take a train to Tokyo Skytree Station (~ 60 min.). Explore Tokyo Skytree and enjoy lunch on your own. Participants can also visit Asakusa, a popular nearby destination.
