1. Please get one of PASMO and Suica cards at the airport
Only electronic money, PASMO and Suica, can be used to pay for lunch at the RIKEN cafeteria. Cash cannot be used. PASMO and Suica cards are available at the airport. Once you arrive in Japan, please get one of these cards at the airport.

2. Entering RIKEN Wako Campus
Entry into and exit from the RIKEN Wako Campus and buildings is controlled.
(1) Workshop participants
When you first come to RIKEN, please pick up your "One-Day Entry Permit" card at the West Gate Guard Station. The procedure to get the card will be e-mailed to you. Please hold your card over the card reader at the entrance to the Nishina RIBF Bldg. (E01) to enter. The card will be exchanged at the check-in counter of the workshop for a "Temporary Entry Permit" card, which is valid for the duration of the workshop.
(2) Accompanying persons
Accompanying persons will use a "Visitor Card" when entering the RIKEN Wako Campus. It cannot be used to enter or leave buildings. It is valid for one day only, and must be picked up and returned at the West Gate Guard Station every day. The registration number required to get the card will be e-mailed to the workshop participant.
3. Check-in counter
The check-in counter of the workshop will be open in front of the room #201 at the Nishina RIBF Bldg. (E01) from 9:20 am on July 2, 2024. The registration fee (for coffee) is 2,000 JPY and the dinner fee is 6,000 JPY. Please pay them in cash.
