Guest House at Academia Sinica (AS)
We will reserve the accommodation for registered participants at Academia Activity Center, the guest house of Academia Sinica (an English version is available by clicking the icon at the top right corner of the page). It is a 6-minute walk (450 meters) between the Activity Center and the Institute of Physics (the workshop venue).

1. 1,100TWD for Single room and 1,400TWD for Twin room (per room/night).
2. Cash and credit card payments are accepted.
3. The dormitory on the 6 floor is currently undergoing renovation. Some intermittent noise may occur during the construction. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
4. NO BREAKFAST included. Guest may go to MOS BURGER located at 1F of Activity Center or Trine & Zen located in Tsai Yuan-Pei Memorial Hall for having a breakfast at own expense. Additional nearby alternative options can be found at Dining and Gymnasium on campus and around AS.
5. C/In after 2 PM and C/Out before 1200 NOON. Additional fees will be charged for early c/in (550TWD for single room, 700TWD for twin room) or late c/out (100TWD per hour). Prior reservation must be made ONE day before for any early c/in or late c/out. A 24-hour front desk is available.
6. Shower gel and shampoo will be provided in guest room. NO DISPOSABLE AMENITIES (toothbrushes, combs, razors, shower caps, soap and paper slippers) are provided in consideration of environmental protection. Guest may bring their own toiletries/amenities when traveling and reuse containers whenever possible. If guests bring a laptop, kindly check whether the power outlets are compatible with those in Taiwan.
7. If you need a taxi to the airport, please contact the front desk staff in advance, at least three days before your ride. Provide the airport terminal information, pick-up time, and specify your payment preference (cash or credit card). Allow 1-2 hours for travel time and 2 hours for check-in, totaling 3-4 hours from the activity center to Taoyuan Airport (the current cost is calculated by meter and ranges from approximately 1,400 to 1,800TWD). For Songshan Airport, allow 30-45 minutes for travel time and 2 hours for check-in, totaling 2.5-3 hours from the activity center (the current cost is calculated by meter and is less than 1,000TWD).
