Announcement of Japan-China X-ray collaboration Workshop (1st circular)

Title: Japan-China X-ray collaboration Workshop,
“New eyes on X-ray astrophysical objects with Japanese and Chinese observatories”
Date: 19 ~ 21, November 2018

Goal:
It is important to enhance a tight collaboration between Japan and China on the X-ray astronomy using our current-and-future X-ray observatories. The goals of the workshop are to review current sta
tus of X-ray missions in Japan and China and their science results, to summarize the knowledge on the instrument calibration, analyses software and user support, and to search for the collaboration
plan between Japan and Chine on the data analyses and coordinated observations. The workshop also covers the lectures for beginners of the analyses of the Suzaku/Hitomi and the Insight-HXMT (慧眼) m
issions.
Topics and program (tentative):
1. Mission status of current missions
2. Scientific results on Insight-HXMT, MAXI, and Hitomi missions
3. Calibration and software/archive/user support
4. Analyses school of Insight-HXMT, and Suzaku/Hitomi
5. Overview of future approved missions & Roadmap of Japan/China observatories
